  • Promote and maintain a safe beach through presence and direct action.
FIVE TENENTS
  • Execute proactive and reactive situational responses
  • Perform ocean rescues
  • Provide first aid and CPR
  • Help locate and reunite missing or lost children to their families
  • Enforce park regulations, address matters of public interest, and protect park resources
SUMMARY OVERVIEW
  1. A variety of situations arise on Hampton Beach during the summer.

  2. Hampton lifeguards are taught to be versatile, and always do their best to deal with situations effectively to maintain a safe beach for all who visit Hampton's pristine shoreline.
